Veineinem Singson has been crowned Miss Nagaland 2014!

Twenty Two years Old, who also holds the Miss Dimapur title, Veineinem Singsong was crowned the most prestigious Miss Nagaland 2014 held in an impressive beauty pageant Friday night at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsama. Miss Nagaland pageant 2014 also marked the 25 years of Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN).

Kaheli Chophy and Muluvesalu Keyho who also adjudged Miss Photogenic title won first and second runners up respectively. Winners of sub titles of the contest, Queen of Hearts (newly introduced) were won by B. Sangki Konyak, Miss photogenic Muluvesalu Keyho, Miss Perfect 10 Teisovinuo and Miss Talent L.C Paunen.

Celebrating the 25 years Miss Nagaland (BASN) honored its past beauty queens making a memorable evening. Former chief secretary Alemtemshi Jamir made special appearance by joining Roko and Lipok Longkumer who presented Country Nostalgia. The event was co-sponsored by National Health Mission, Nagaland. Sponsors included forests, ecology, environment & Wildlife, Land Resources, Irrigation and agriculture departments. Other sponsors– Seven Six provision store, Mixed Bag, Vian Enterprises, Fit & Fine Gym, Sami Direct, M/S Naagaamiitech. Crown was sponsored by Toshimongla Metha. The contestants also wore foot wares designed by Filafi Fithu. Judges of the event included Asungba IAS, Ate Kevichusa, Filafi Fithu, Tali Angh and Joshua Shequi
