Mizoram Lad Jeremy Lalrinnunga Wins Silver in IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships, Qualifies for 2018 Youth Olympic Games

Bangkok [Thailand], Apr. 6 (ANI): India’s Jeremy Lalrinnunga has won a silver in 56kg category in IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships

Lalrinnunga lifted a total of 240kg (110 in snatch + 130), in clean and jerk, to finish second in the event. He clinched the medal as India opened their account on the first day of the IWF Youth World Weightlifting Championships on Wednesday.

This championship serves as the qualifying event of the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. (ANI)
