Manipur is probably the most bombed state in India. In the last ten years there have been 533 known cases of bomb explosion in Manipur which had lead to killing of 114 persons and injuring 628.
In 2012 alone there was 107 bomb explosions killing 9 person and injuring 90. While in 2013, 76 bomb explosions took place killing 24 and injuring 103 people.
In 2015 till 15th March, there has been 27 bomb explosions killing 4 people and injuring 21.
The Manipur government under Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi Singh has surely failed in bringing peace and harmony in the state. Mr ibobi who has been holding the post of CM since 2002 has not only failed to bring peace in the state but also failed in handling the insurgency problem in the state.
