Tripura Police rubbishes report about Kidney being stolen from a 10-year-old

Agartala, June 28: Tripura Police on Wednesday claimed that the recent media report claiming kidney of a 10-year-old who was murdered to be false and appealed to masses for not to get indulge in rumour mongering and circulating fake news.

Tripura Police after getting the post-mortem report of the minor boy’s body confirmed that the kidneys and liver of the boy which were not taken out. They were all intact to the body.

The police also mentioned that legal action against the people engaged in promoting fake news would be taken.

It may be mentioned that the deceased boy was identified as Purna Biswas.

Earlier, the minor boy who was actually kidnapped in the morning hours on that day is searching. Though the family members intimated the police about the missing minor boy, the locals alleged that the police didn’t pay any heed.

On the other hand, the situation turned ugly when police reached the spot after the recovery of the body of the boy.
