We came across these awesome pictures of tribesmen riding a wooden bike. They very much resemble the Tangkhul Naga people specially with their looks and their traditional attire.
The bikes are completely made of wood and it has no brakes!
These wooden bikes are well decorated with carvings of dragons, deers, lions etc.
It is reported that these tribesmen are from Igorot Tribe of Phillipines. Igorot, or Cordillerans, is the collective name of several Austronesian ethnic groups in The Philippines, who inhabit the mountains of Luzon. These highland peoples inhabit the six provinces of the Cordillera Administrative Region: Abra, Apayao,Benguet, Kalinga, Ifugao, and Mountain Province, as well as Baguio City and the adjacent provice of Nueva Vizcaya.
