Christian music artist Sushan James Basnet from Nagaland have been nominated for International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) Awards in 3 categories for his album “Brand New Day”. He is the only musician from India to be nominated in IMEA Awards 2014. He has been nominated in 3 categories, Christian/Gospel Male Artist Of The Year 2014, Christian/Gospel Album Of The Year 2014 and Christian/Gospel Song Of TheYear 2014. The annual IMEA Awards will be held at Paramount Arts Center, Ashland, Kentucky (USA) on October 4.

About the Artist:
With music as the driving force, James came out of a difficult childhood and his life took a complete U turn. He started writing songs at an early age and when presented with the opportunity to serve the Lord, he eagerly started leading worship and helping in the youth ministry by the age of 14.
In 2013 He released his first Worship Album called “Brand New Day”, and thereby got opportunities for concerts around Bangalore, India also in UAE, Dubai with the Planetshakers from Australia.
James is currently working on his second album and also will be releasing his first music video for the title song ‘Brand New Day’ very soon.
